Workbench is our Organisational Intelligence platform. It connects, collects and analyses data from across your systems and people to help you maximise organisational effectiveness.

The platform makes use of a critical – yet vastly under-utilised asset – your organisational data.

Connect to Workbench for Workplace in four simple steps

Note: Ensure that you are authorised to add apps to Workplace by Facebook, and that the Workbench intelligence for Workplace integration app is approved by your Workplace from Facebook admin.

As an integration or Admin user of Workbench, you will be able to connect Workbench and choose the scopes that are required to enable the Workbench intelligence for Slack app to be active in your Slack workspace.

Step 1

Login into Workbench

Step 2

To connect Workbench intelligence for Workplace, select the “Settings” menu item on the left hand menu and then the “Integrations” menu item. You will be presented with an array of integrations options that have been licensed for use. Now click on the Workplace from Facebook integration Icon to start the process to install Workplace to Workbench.

You will be presented with the option to install 3 different scopes:

Sync Employees
Sync employees in the Workplace instance with employees that are added on Workbench

Send campaign questionnaires and reminders to employees directly with the Workplace Workspace

Allow Workbench to capture Workplace workspace network data to build insights and conversational network

Select the scopes you require by sliding the slider on the right if available.

Then click on the “Install” button.

Step 3

If you have not already signed into your Workplace from Facebook account, as the Workplace Admin of your organisation, will need to sign in to complete the process.

If you have already signed in or have completed the sign in process you will be presented with the following screen. Click on the “add to Workplace” button to complete the installation.

Step 4

Once Workbench intelligence for Workplace has been added your instance you can then invite the Workbench to any of your open  groups.

To do this select the channels tab at the top on the connector screen and then via the 3 dots menu on the right hand side of the group name, select join.

You can invite Workbench to any open Workplace channel via the Workbench integrations dashboard.

To invite Workbench to a private closed group, Workbench has to be invited into that channel via the Workplace interface itself.

Note: Workbench cannot be invited to or collect any metrics from any direct messages.

Once the connection and the channels invite have be completed, you will be able to deliver and see advanced metrics in Workbench and use Workbench to deliver any short survey questionnaires via Workplace to understand how work gets done.

Demo mode

With a demo mode built right into the Workbench intelligence for Workplace bot, you can easily demonstrate how insights will be gathered without influencing your actual data. The demo mode is available to all users in invited channels.
